Not sure about whether Boris is throwing NI under the bus, but NI & my fellow Pigs (thumbing their noses at Cabinet collective responsibility) have come together to throw me under it. So let me prostrate myself in its path before representatives of all teams clamber aboard. Quite rightly, let me swiftly add. The offending questions, mine. Mea culpa. Apologies to all. And to Messrs Heaney & Hume. And to Bertrand Russell, 1950 (also overlooked ; possibly not just by me).

To err is Hume-an...... and no great harm done. Heaney certainly will not be turning in his grave at being denied UK status.
"Be advised, my passport's green No glass of ours was ever raised To toast the queen"
Hume's great grandfather incidentally was a good Scottish presbyterian and one of the few people who ever emigrated to Co. Donegal hoping to find work.....scenery yes, but work, no. Not sure when or why his family converted to Catholicism but his words suggest that he would never have made a great Free Presbyterian:
"If the word "no" was ever removed from the English language, Ian Paisley would be speechless"....
