Many of you will have heard the very sad news today that our colleague and friend Dave Rainford died last night
I gather he was found by those who went in to help him this morning.
Dave was a good friend to all of us and has been a constant inspiration to our quiz league for many, many years - from Ebony and Ivory at the Red, to the Prodigals (last season's league champions) at the Albert Club (and that's not to mention a stint on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire and The Eggheads in between).
We will miss him greatly - it just won't be the same without you, Dave.
I will post a special QuizBiz page on the website later this evening or tomorrow morning and include some of the tributes you have already started to send me.
Please let me know how you think we might best mark his passing both in the next few days and then at the end of Season evening coming up in May.
Finally all our love and best wishes to Tina and Ella in this difficult hour. Thanks for lending him to us. He was very much loved by all.
